Biography

Sarah is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Banking and Finance Practice Group and is based in the London office.

Practice Focus

Sarah's practice is focused on a broad spectrum of finance-related matters, principally financial restructuring of corporate debt, structured finance and securitisation transactions (including restructuring such transactions) and bank regulatory matters, principally involving advice to investors in regulatory capital instruments. She has advised on numerous complex financial restructurings, principally cross-border restructurings, where her focus has principally been on advice to investors and ad hoc creditors' committees.

Her experience in advising on structured finance and securitisation transactions spans over twenty years, advising arrangers and originators of, and investors in, complex structures, typically cross-border transactions. She has also advised one of the leading rating agencies on their ratings of securitised debt.

Sarah is the current chairman of the Financial Law Committee of the City of London Law Society.
