Description: This paper forms a component of the REDGTF project: Identifying optimal legal frameworks for renewable energy in China and India (the Project), funded by the Australian Government and the US Government under the APP. The Project is undertaken by Baker & McKenzie and the Renewable Energy and International Law project (REIL). REIL is an international network of policymakers, investors, finance, business, thought leaders, lawyers, and technical experts, addressing the policy, financial and technical issues arising in the mainstreaming of clean energy and the development of the clean energy market.
